Synopsis
Why
did dinosaurs extinguish? Why do volcanos spit fire? Why
are there rich and poor? Why do jokes make us laugh? Why
do we have to die? Why do we come from monkeys? Why do
Muslims pray on a mat?
In
the face of an audience of more than five thousand children
and reunited in the University of Tubinga during the summer
of 2002, eight specialized professors were in charge of
responding to these questions that, after their apparent
simplicity, hide a whole interpretation of the world.
In a simple and entertaining way, these professors were
able to give the most intelligent and simple answers to
the questions that children always ask, and we can hardly
respond to. This is a book extraordinarily amusing and
instructive that many adults should read.
