Synopsis
In 1941, few hours before the German Occupation,
when Salvador Dalí had to leave hurriedly the french
city of Arcachon, he got missing the manuscript of a book
that had written in French between 1932 and 1935: The
tragic myth of “the Angelus” of Millet, one
of the most brilliant texts of the genius painter. Located
in 1963 by the publisher Jean-Jacques Pauvert, was published
that same year in France. In 1978, for the Spanish edition
of Tusquets Publishing, Dalí added graphical documentation
and new commentaries, reason why the book constituted
a world-wide novelty.
