Synopsis
This work constitutes the first complete
guide about the current state of the Biblical studies.
The chapters of the First Part include all the methods
and approaches practiced in the academic study of the
Bible at the present moment, whereas those of the Second
Part examine the main book blocks of the Bible from the
recent investigation perspective -for example, the historical
books of the Old Testament, gospels, prophetic Literature...,-
approaching important questions in a well-taken care tone
of spreading. Twenty-one chapters, specifically ordered
to specialists of recognized prestige of North America
and Great Britain, present traditional points of view
as much as contemporary ones.
