the author
Silverstein was born in Chicago and died in 1999 at the
age of 66 years. It was awarded with the prizes New York
Times Notable Book, the IRA7 Children's Choice, The George
C. Stone and the William allen White. Of Shel Silverstein
it’s been said that "he had a genius that went
beyond ages and sorts, and without any doubt his works
marked the life of many people".
