Synopsis
The
corpse of a young woman is found in the attic of a house
located in Bethlehem’s highway, in the district
of Baqah, Jerusalem. Superintendent Michael Ohayon has
just bought a new house in that district, and when he
goes see it, he is protested against in the place of the
crime.
Like
in her previous books, Batya Gur presents a complex and
captivating criminal investigation that takes the reader
into a closed world having its own laws. In this case,
the action takes place in a district of Jerusalem where
the Israeli reality is condensed in miniature. Throughout
the investigation, Michael Ohayon will discover little
by little everything that is hidden behind the most evident
reality.
