Synopsis
"Julia arrived at school in a February morning," Luis del Val tells, and since that moment Clara’s life will change completely; almost as much as the life of a family, a city and a country in the last thirty years. This book is a story of friendship and complicity, understanding, and mix-ups, between two very different women from their childhood to adulthood.

The book is a story of the desire to live and the incessant search of happiness, but it is also the story of a corpse hidden in the closet for many years, an unfulfilled dream, and a broken promise. Narrated in such a personal and characteristic way, it is full of benevolent irony and kind lucidity; this novel means the return of Luis del Val to his greatest literary facet.

About the author
Luis del Val initiated his professional career as a journalist in the no longer published newspaper “Pueblo.” Since then, his articles and writings for the press have been published in journalistic publications such as “Diario 16,” “Ya,” “Interviú,” “Tiempo,” and other. Besides, his work as commentator in “Telemadrid” and the television chain “Ser” is very popular; he is also author of numerous scripts for several TV shows televised by Spanish Television and Antenna 3. In addition, he has published different essays and novels, winning the “Novela Ateneo 2003” prize for The imperfect girl-friends.
